Throughout his 20 year career in the financial services industry, Alex has coached many advisors on how to transition their practice, grow their business and become successful in the financial industry. After multiple acquisitions in the recent years, he has become one of the fastest growing advisors in the nation. He now teaches other advisors on the different ways to acquire a practice, while warning them of the many pitfalls and misconceptions. Alex is also an expert in succession planning and works with many financial advisors on how to plan for the next step in their career. His approach matches perfectly for advisors who want a well-conceived and personalized path towards their own retirement.
Alex received a business management degree from Pepperdine University. He began his career working at a nationally-recognized financial institution and an accounting firm. Alex entered the financial consulting business in 1997, founded Chalekian Wealth Management in 2003, and in 2014, he started Lake Avenue Financial, an RIA in Pasadena, California. As the CEO of Lake Avenue Financial, he works diligently to help his clients crystallize their financial goals, and then develops a comprehensive plan to build and manage financial assets toward these goals. Regarded by his clients as thorough, innovative and a tech savvy advisor, Alex has served as a financial consultant to many successful professionals, business owners and retirees.
When he is not working, Alex commits his energy to his family, friends and community. Some of his favorite activities include traveling and playing sports.
